Trauma Therapy for Residents of Virginia and Texas
What happens during a session?
Counseling will center around your unique life experience and what you hope to achieve through your time in therapy. Many find success attending biweekly sessions in which we will explore your past, present and future. Sessions will be a combination of conversation and intervention, including therapeutic assignments to do at home. The ultimate goal being to challenge the mind to overcome obstacles hindering overall happiness and fulfillment.
For your convenience and to serve a wider range of Black women, my practice is exclusively virtual. Online therapy has been proven to be just as effective as therapy in an office, without the hassle and time constraints of traveling to a specific location. In-person appointments are not available.

It is strongly recommended that you secure a comfortable environment that is private and quiet, as well as, free of disruptions and distractions during your counseling appointments.
Do you offer in person appointments?
Do you work with children, couples or families?
Appointments are not available for children, couples or families. I work with individual adult Black women who can initiate, continually show up, and engage in therapy independently. If you are prepared to dive deep, ready for change, and are self-motivated, let's get to work.
